The new translations are aimed at serving the growing number of Spanish-speaking roofing professionals and building owners. They cover a variety of topics for steep slope roofs--such as algae and moss prevention, asphalt shingle recycling, and the prevention of ice dams--as well as topics for low-slope and commercial roofs.

More of ARMA's library of educational resources are scheduled for translation in the future.

The technical bulletins can be accessed for free on ARMA's website. Viewers who want to view the text in Spanish can simply choose that option on either the left side toolbar or at the top-right corner of the website.

“By providing these roofing best practices in Spanish, ARMA aims to better serve both the industry and those who trust asphalt roofing to protect their homes and buildings,” said Reed Hitchcock, the organization's executive vice president.
