In conjunction with a 150,000-square-foot warehouse that opened two years ago, the $100 million complex serves as the Midwestern distribution site for all of the company's high-performance roofing products and will serve customers in the central U.S. At a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this month, contractors, architects and distributors toured the new facility and heard officials -- including Saint-Gobain CEO Pierre-Andre de Chalendar and Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon -- speak about the project. The new facility produces the company's Landmark residential roofing shingles. The Jonesburg plant is one of 11 asphalt shingle manufacturing sites CertainTeed operates around the country. It also has one low-slope commercial roofing facility and three granule production plants.
